On June 15th, the Maison de l’architecture en Île-de-France is holding the conference “Dialogues Architectes / Entreprises” (Conversations Architects / Industries). The event is set up by the Trophée Béton (“Concrete Trophy”). The Trophée Béton consists of two prizes: the Trophée béton Ecoles, a competition that rewards young architecture graduates from French schools, and the Trophée Béton Pro, which honors constructions on the French territory of the past 5 years.

The event will focus on concrete constructions, highlighting how “the dreams of the architect and the expertise of a construction firm” match. The last ” Dialogues Architectes / Entreprises ” conference was held on April 20th, and a recap video is available.

The conference will give the floor to the architects of Snøhetta and to the AAB firm, for a talk concerning the  project “Lascaux IV”, International Centre for Cave Art. The architects of Ateliers 2/3/4 and the Delta Préfabrication firm will, for their part, talk about the Béziers Courthouse project. As for Vinci Construction, their intervention will be on the International High school of East Paris in Noisy-le-Grand.
