Gilles Ragot, architectural historian and professor at the Bordeaux Montaigne university, is organizing a conference on the Finnish architect Alvar Aalto as part of his cycle “The Tuesdays of Gilles Ragot”. Entitled “Alvar Aalto. Another approach for modern architecture”, the conference will be held on Tuesday, May 16th, at 7p.m., at the Maison de l’architecture de Poitou-Charentes. It aims to highlight the works of someone who suffered “a kind of marginalization by critics and a lack of general public recognition”.
