What to do this summer in the south of France? First stop Avignon to discover, until November 5th, the exhibition “On aime l’Art … !!”at the Lambert Collection, a selection curated by Émil Mézil of the Agnès b collection.

Passionate about art with a flair for avant-garde, the gallery owner, film director, patron and stylist Agnès b. has constituted, over the years, a collection of more than 5,000 artworks.

“Painting, love, daydreams, music, experimental cinema, adolescence, modernity, avant-garde, transcending established borders, be they physical, social or mental, Africa , are as many aesthetic landscapes to be explored by the visitors, through the richness and diversity of the exhibited works, crossed by the necessity of a total commitment in the experience of life and the struggle for freedom,” write the organizers of the exhibition.

The works of Kenneth Anger, Diane Arbus, Jonas Mekas, Leila Alaoui, Robert Doisneau and Nan Goldin will be among the 400 pieces that will be presented in the space of the Lambert Collection.
