The National Museum of Qatar, designed by Ateliers Jean Nouvel, opens its doors on March 28th.

A mirage shimmers in the desert air and then vanishes. But Jean Nouvel’s National Museum of Qatar is far from an illusion. At the end of an epic, from Abu Dhabi to Doha, and since his “coming of age building”, the Arab World Institute in Paris, Nouvel has gently shaped (some would say engulfed) the architecture of the Arab world.
