The Architects’ Association of Catalonia (COAC) has launched the 2017 edition of its biennal competition: “The European Award for Architectural Heritage Intervention AADIPA”. The final registration date to submit proposals, initially set on April 14th, has been extended to April 28th. The contest aims to distinguish heritage best practices and contribute to their dissemination. On April 25th, the members of the jury will present the book that has been published for the 2015 edition of the contest, in the Assembly room of the COAC in Barcelona. More information on the official website.

The 16th edition of the Venice Architecture Biennale will take place between May 26th and November 25th 2018. A call for projects has been launched by the Institut Français for the conception of the French pavilion. Proposals can be submitted until June 30th. More information on the website of the Institut Français.

Anyone passing through Paris this month should take a look at the Mois de la Photo du Grand Paris (“Photography of Greater Paris Month”), an event which will be held across 96 exhibitions organized throughout the Parisian mainland. Some of the photographers and curators can be met in the galleries during two weekends, on April 22nd-23rd and 29th-30th. More information on the official website.
