The Voyage à Nantes, “a scattered monument spreading over 12 kilometers”, is an itinerary directed by Jean Blaise allowing to discover the various cultural facets of the French city. By following (or not) the course of the “green line”, drawn on the ground, the visitors will find installations, sculptures, museums, buildings, and so on. When summer comes, the event builds in importance, with artistic interventions in the whole city, as well as various and often free events.

This year, the Voyage à Nantes is beginning its 6th summer edition and will again spread a group of artists in the public space of the city, from July 1st to August 27th 2017. Amongst the attractions the visitors will find the Château des ducs de Bretagne and its collections; the Machines of the Isle of Nantes, gigantic sculptures by François Delarozière and Pierre Orefice; Estuaire Nantes – Saint-Nazaire, a permanent collection of 30 works scattered along the Loire. The entire program has been published on the website of the Voyage à Nantes.
