The World Stage Design 2017, 4th edition of this quadrennial event, will take place in Taipei from July 1st to 9th 2017. While the Prague quadrennial is the first festival devoted to set design, with its showcase of designers sorted by country, the World Stage Design is the only event which presents the design of individual artists, regardless of their country of origin.

The exhibit celebrates the best in global performance design. Every stage designer exhibiting his work had to submit it beforehand to an international panel of judges. This year, more than 150 artists from the five continents will be showcased.

During the same days Scenofest will take place, a stage design festival which hosts a wide array of seminars, workshops, performances and presentations.
